For the Route du Rhum and its departure village, deploy an activation that highlights CORUM’s sailing project while engaging sailing enthusiasts drawn to the event.

Opportunity

As a Virtual Regatta sponsor, CORUM seized the opportunity to leverage this game played by millions, creating a first-ever activation merging online gaming with real-life experiences.

Answer

Organize the first competition on Virtual Regatta which will conclude with a grand final in Saint-Malo, within the starting village of the Route de Rhum 2022, in unprecedented conditions, with a series of events mixing virtual & real. Qualifications early October, a final 1 hour live on Twitch and physical presence in the start village. A virtual race followed by an IRL race at Saint-Malo.
